Weather, revisited.
In this section, I will be analysing weather events that have occurred in the past, mainly focusing on the UK, but also revisiting weather events abroad. The type of events analysed here will be extreme, unusual and unlikely - such as the 2003 European heatwave and the devistating Atlantic storms of the winter 2013-14 that struck the UK and Ireland. I may also look at extreme events in other countries, such as tropical cyclones, tornadoes and extreme cold. This section serves as a reminder that the atmosphere is an ever-changing, dynamic system and extreme events are always within the realm of possibility.
